What you will see and experience:

Pražský hrad (Prague Castle) is ranked among Prague´s most beautiful and largest landmarks. It is the symbol of the thousand years old history of Prague. It was founded between 880 - 890 as Roman fortified settlement whose remains can still to be found under paving of the third courtyard. During its sightseeing we can admire the buildings such as Svatovítská katedrála (St. Vitus Cathedral) being the viewpoint of Prague Castle and the whole city already from a distance, Starý královský palác (Old Royal Palace), klášter sv. Jiří (Monastery of St. George) with its Roman walls or Zlatá ulička (Golden Lane) where you will be astonished how people could live in such a small space, the famous Rudolphean art collections and much more. And we will finish our walk down in the royal gardens of Prague Castle which were ranked among the gems of garden architecture already in the Renaissance period.

Where the route goes:

The route will take you through the entire castle complex. We will enter the first castle courtyard through a Baroque grated gate patrolled by the fighting Giants. Along the representative spaces of the Castle which serve to the president of the republic we will enter the second courtyard. Here we will mention the Emperor Rudolph II. who kept his renowned art and curiosity collections here. During its sightseeing we can admire the buildings such as Svatovítská katedrála (St. Vitus Cathedral) being the viewpoint of Prague Castle and the whole city already from a distance, Starý královský palác (Old Royal Palace), klášter sv.
